The Escala Yacht Club is a sports association with over 40 years' history. It is located in L'Escala Port, close to the ruins of Empúries and to the Montgrí and Aiguamolls d'Empordà natural parks.This is a peaceful port in the south of the Gulf of Roses, where conditions are ideal for sailing and water sports. It is also a great base for the many tourism activities available in the county of Empordà, which has a rich heritage in terms of historical monuments, museums, landscape and gastronomy.The club has 957 mooring points for boats of up to 25 metres long and offers all the necessary port services for accommodating boats and their occupants. In the services section on this website you can consult the port map, on which all the available services are indicated. Furthermore, the port's team of professionals will assist you during your stay at the port and will be only too happy to provide information on the services available in the port and the surrounding area to make sure you have an enjoyable stay with us.Meanwhile, the sports department organises sports activities and events throughout the year and runs the club's sailing school, recognised by the Catalan Sailing Federation. Sailing courses for beginners are held throughout the year for adults and children, along with other activities through which participants can discover the local area through water sports.In recent years the club has refurbished its facilities and has significantly increased its offering of port and sports services.
