Blanes Sports Complex is a top-level municipal sports installation. It is strategically located, at the gateway to the Costa Brava, and it is versatile, thanks to its different spaces which allow for the design and production of all sorts of events:
Sports: basketball, indoor football, handball, competitive gymnastics, badminton, dancesport, twirling, rhythmic gymnastics, martial arts, tennis, volleyball, hockey, figure skating, aerobics, guided gymnastics, chess…
The Indoor Sports Centre is the most important part of the Blanes Sports Complex and in sporting circles it is considered to be one of the most innovative and prestigious in Spain, with 7,000 m2 of sports surface and 6 official-size playing fields in use at any one time. The 40,000 m2, four-storey building houses an underground car park for 360 vehicles.
There is a system of curtains for changing the size and capacity of the different spaces:
3 separate white, flame-retardant, transversal curtains, hanging from the structure.
